Hello All. I cannot be the only one out there in cyberspace who wishes there was a way to act as a matchmaker for our friends and family members who are single. I have some wonderful people in my life who are single and they would like to find someone to date. From my perspective as a loyal friend/family member, I would love to see them with people who would treat them like queens (and kings).

I have tried to convince them to sign up for sites such as Match.com or some of the other ones but most of them are skeptical of meeting people online. Although many 20 yr olds are more comfortable with the concept of online dating, my friends/family are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s and are not comfortable with this concept.

There are all sorts of match sites out there but I couldn't find any for friends who want to act as a matchmaker for their friend and help them find that someone special.

I thought about this blog as a way to share ideas for how to help our friends find decent, nice people to date. Maybe even share information about our single family and friends (without using their real names) to see see if anyone else who comes to this blog might have a friend or family member that they feel would be a good match.

I have even thought about hosting a dinner at my house for my single friends and family and inviting a few other people to bring their single friends and family and maybe, just maybe, a few of them might even like each other.

I feel like the sky is the limit on what we can do to help out the people we love.

I happen to live in Rhode Island but I have friends and family in MA, CT, NY, FL, RI that I would love to find decent, respectable, honest and trustworthy people for them to date.

How about the rest of you. Do you have any ideas for how we can be matchmakers for the people we love?
